babies, bodies & becoming

There's no one right way to give birth, grieve, transition, or change. I hold space for your emotions, empower your transformation, and witness your becoming. Whatever that may be!

  • Doulas are trained, non-medical support professionals who offer individualized care through major life transitions. They provide emotional and physical support, evidence-based information and resources, and care for the whole familyβ€”helping you feel informed, confident, and supported in making decisions that align with your values.

  • When you think β€œdocumentary photographer,” you might think candid moments and small details β€” and that’s part of it. But this work is also about documenting history as it unfolds: noticing what’s here, knowing it won’t exist again, and believing it’s worth remembering exactly as it is. Nothing needs to be perfect to be beautiful.

I work with a few guiding principles β€” create context, show don’t tell, and make room for big emotions β€” but I don’t believe in distance for the sake of a photo. I’ll step in when needed, offer guidance, and move with you, documenting your experience with honesty and care because I’m right there with you.

  • I work with people across a full spectrum of identities, relationships, and life stages. My work is queer- and trans-inclusive, nonjudgmental, and rooted in care for real, tender moments β€” from pregnancy and the fourth trimester to life’s many transitions, milestones, and in-between spaces.

I’m especially drawn to working with people who are willing to be tender and real. Those who want to show up as their best selves, yes β€” but also as their honest selves.

If you’re moving through change and want to be met with care, presence, and curiosity, we may be a good fit.

hey! i’m Becca

My pronouns are they/them.

I started as a photographer, and my lens taught me how to see. Not just what’s in front of me, but what’s underneath: the beauty, the bravery, the liminal threads that connect us all.

As a doula, I carry that same way of seeing β€” attuned to emotion, rhythm, energy β€” to help you feel safe, informed, and completely supported.

MORE ABOUT ME
  • "What a treat it was to let [baby] do his thing and have the full sensory food experience and not be on cleanup duty!"

  • "My husband just downloaded the photos to his phone. A few times I heard him say, "oh man, these are soooo goooood!"
