my focus & philosophy

I’m a full-spectrum doula and documentary photographer, walking with people through thresholds of birth, postpartum, fertility, loss, and transformation. My practice is grounded in harm reduction, body literacy, and the belief that care should be collaborative, non-judgmental, and responsive to each person’s unique needs.

Whether I’m holding a baby so a parent can rest, preparing a meal, tidying up, listening to a birth story, or documenting a season of life, my goal is to create space — physically, emotionally, and spiritually — so you can feel supported and resourced.

my values

  • trusting your intuition

I’m not here to tell you what to do. Your intuition is a powerful, essential force that deserves to be listened to.

I’m here to protect your trust in your instincts by supporting you without taking over and sharing info without pushing an agenda.

  • scientific evidence

There is so much information out there and it’s hard to know what’s actually true. That’s where I come in; I love research!

If you have questions, I’ll help you find answers. And I’ll help you find them from people who actually know what they’re talking about!

  • grace over guilt

We’re all going to make mistakes. That’s what humans do. That’s the only way we can grow!

Most of these mistakes really aren’t a big deal and don’t say anything about us as people. I think it’s ok to be wrong, it’s ok to not know, and it’s ok to look a little bit foolish.

my background & experience

I work at the intersection of healthcare and art, and my perspective has been shaped by years of supporting diverse families in various capacities, including co-parents & blended families, queer and trans parents, survivors of trauma, neurodivergent folks, and those navigating complex medical systems.

Alongside my doula work, I bring a documentary eye to photography, capturing authentic, unposed moments that honour identity & memory.

think we’d
make a good fit?

I’d love to help you explore the type of support that would be most helpful for you, whether we end up working together or not. This practice is more than a business to me; it’s about showing up and caring for people in ways that ripple outward.
